To Read about Music is Inspiring and it will increase your Critical Thinking, give you new Expressive Tools, will make you a Better Professional,... Here you have Books you HAVE to Read!!

Music As Speech - Nikolaus Harnoncourt

This book contains one of the harshest critics to musicians ourselves: "The music we play in these places is music we do not understand at all, music which was intended for people of quite different times. The most remarkable aspect of this situation is that we are completely unaware of it. We believe that there is nothing to understand, since music addresses itself directly to our feelings."

It will definitely make you think, and you will learn a lot about classical and baroque conventions.
